BIOGRAPHY

Teresa Ingrilli landscape

Perth born and raised, Teresa Ingrilli is an emerging Australian classical lyric soprano based in Melbourne. She has performed both locally and internationally in opera, operetta and oratorio.

Teresa was accepted as an emerging artist for Melbourne Opera’s Richard Divall Emerging Artist Program and as a chorus member for Victorian Opera. She won 1st place for the Mildura Eisteddfod Aria and was a semi-finalist for the Herald Sun and the Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship.

Teresa is a co-founder of Balcony Opera which was created during the Victorian lockdowns with soprano Lisette Bolton to share the joy of classical singing, perform and to bring the community together through the pandemic. Balcony opera appeared in The Age, Channel 7’s Weekend Sunrise, ABC Radio Melbourne and on BBC Proms - A night at the Opera.

- Graduate Diploma in Music (Practical Music)

Curtin University (Western Australia)
- Bachelor of Arts (Design) with Honours.
